This gorgeous Shadowbrook at Shrewsbury summer wedding was a classic affair that resulted in the most timeless of weddings.
Lindsey and Luke knew that they wanted an elegant and classic wedding day and, after touring nine venues, they finally decided on Shadowbrook at Shrewsbury because it fit the vision they wanted for the whole day.
Lindsey and Luke’s wedding day was hot but, despite all of the hot weather (the temps hit 95°!), Lindsey and Luke were troopers. Alex Peterson of Idalia Photography captured some truly beautiful moments during their wedding day. “I loved their emotional first look, their golf cart ride to the front gate, and of course using the grounds and architecture of Shadowbrook for their portraits. It was definitely a wedding day for the books and you can’t even tell how hot it was in any of their photos!” Alex says.
Every detail about Lindsey and Luke’s wedding day felt super-elevated and classic. They filled Shadowbrook at Shrewsbury with black and gold details, creating a stunning backdrop for their day. The florals at their ceremony location were just gorgeous—they not only made for a beautiful ceremony backdrop but they were used as a backdrop for some of their photos.
The emotions these two experienced on their wedding day was so evident and then they transitioned to party mode at the reception. These two were so present on the dance floor and their guests loved it!
They ended the night with a gorgeous night shot in front of the venue. So beautiful!
