Your Story
“We were always crossing each other’s paths during football season, as I am a teacher and Ronnie was a football coach,” Lynnie says. “We never really spoke to one another, other than a ‘Hey’ or ‘How are ya?’ After the football season ended, we were ‘set up’ one night unexpectedly at a country line-dancing bar that following Spring, and that’s all it took for us to be in the same room together—and that started the beginning of our forever.”
Will You Marry Me?
Lynnie and Ronnie got engaged Memorial Day Weekend 2022 at Salt Creek Grill in Rumson, NJ, on the dock after dinner.
Details of the Day
“Our wedding was very rustic, yet romantic and elegant that was decorated with blush and greenery florals, along with outdoorsy touches of deer antlers and candles,” Lynnie explains.
First Dance
Their first dance as husband and wife was to “You Save Me,” by Kenny Chesney.
Why Did You Choose Bear Brook Valley?
“We chose Bear Brook Valley because it’s simply spectacular,” Lynnie says. “From the scenery to the food to the service, our day couldn’t have been more perfect. Plus, we are such an outdoorsy couple, BBV literally checked everything on our list the moment we pulled onto the property!”
Favorite Moment
Lynnie’s favorite moment: “Walking down the stairs from the silo suite to my father who was escorting me to my soon-to-be-husband, and of course our first look!” the bride explains. “I will never forget the excitement and butterflies I had!”
Ronnie’s favorite moment: “Our first dance with dancing on the clouds and sparklers—it felt like we were the only ones in the room!” Ronnie says.
Favorite Detail
“Our photographer Mr. Anthony Ziccardi himself—if it wasn’t for Anthony and his incredible talent, we wouldn’t have the amazing photos we get to look back on of our beautiful wedding day!” Lynnie explains.
Advice for Others
“Don’t rush time away, and be sure to take every moment as it comes with endless love and respect for each other!” Lynnie says.
Honeymoon
Lynn and Ronnie spent 10 days in St. Lucia where they snorkeled, hiked to a waterfall, took a sunset cruise and rented a private charter boat to take them out snorkeling and fishing. “Lynnie also had us win country music trivia,” Ronnie adds. “With every country song that was played, Lynnie got every single one of them correct to where people couldn’t believe we were from Jersey! We still talk about our honeymoon like it was yesterday and we have some of the best memories that we made together on that beautiful island!”
