A graduate of Parsons School of Design, Jean-Ralph combines traditional couture techniques with an appreciation for architecture. Structure, proportion and line are central to his designs, with silhouettes carefully engineered to flatter the body while still allowing the wearer to move comfortably.

Throughout his career, his work has been recognized within the fashion industry and featured editorially, while his custom designs have been worn for weddings, black-tie celebrations, professional appearances and other milestone occasions.

The Custom Wedding Gown Experience

The process starts with a conversation. Jean-Ralph wants to understand not only what a bride envisions for her gown, but also her wedding, personal style, how she moves and, most importantly, how she wants to feel when she wears it.

From there, he guides each client through what he calls the Unparalleled Design Experience, helping with everything from silhouette and fabric development to color, embellishments and styling.

The gown then progresses from the initial sketch through muslin and a series of meticulous fittings. Each detail is refined along the way, with a focus on fit, comfort, movement and craftsmanship. The result is a wedding gown created specifically for one bride rather than a gown designed for a sample size and later adapted to her.

Custom design can also be an especially appealing option for brides who have a very specific vision, love elements from several different gowns, have difficulty finding the fit they want in traditional bridal collections or simply want something no one else will be wearing.
