Facilities and Capacity
Upon arrival at the mansion, guests will be greeted by a large portico held up by grand, two-story columns. The white facade, complete with black shutters, impressively stands out behind the professionally manicured front garden. Inside, the exquisite attention to detail paid to the interior is readily apparent. Multiple fireplaces and chandeliers appear in rooms with antique furniture and oil paintings, which seem to transport you to a different era. The facility’s ballroom is where couples can choose to hold their indoor ceremonies and receptions. Ornate millwork, columns, alcoves, and coffered ceilings elegantly define each space within this grand room. Couples wishing to hold their ceremony outdoors may do so in the venue’s gardens. A number of water features create a serene atmosphere and intimate hiding place for couples to enjoy a quiet moment together. This facility also has get-ready rooms available for use on your big day. One of these suites is as elegantly appointed as the rest of the mansion with more chandeliers, intricate millwork, and antique furnishings. The other is decorated with dark, hardwood paneling, exposed brick walls, and a natural stone-tiled floor.
The team at The Park Savoy is dedicated to making sure that no detail is spared in the planning of your event. The venue’s managers and maitre d’s are available to consult with couples about the particulars of their big day and to help guide menu choices. A number of rental items are also offered, including tables and chairs, tableware, and linens. Couples can plan a cocktail hour with hors d’oeuvres, complete with a signature drink. Champagne toasts and open-bar packages are available. This venue is happy to provide bartenders and servers. Each wedding booked is accompanied by uniformed valet attendants, welcoming hosts, one waiter per table and white-glove table service.
History
This original house that stood on this site was built in 1870, erected on a 150-acre dairy farm. The property changed hands on several occasions, but had been used as a speakeasy during prohibition, a nightclub for several decades, and a country club. This community landmark underwent an extensive renovation in 2011 to become the upscale, catering venue that it is today.
