About Perona Farms

Family-owned and -operated since 1917,  Perona Farms is proud to be a premier Northern New Jersey wedding location. Given their 105 years of experience, they do things a bit differently than other caterers and wedding venues. As fourth- and fifth- generation family members, they are actively involved every day. The team at Perona designs exclusive weddings for every budget, with three unique and beautiful venues to choose from.

Your wedding may begin with a ceremony at one of their unique locations with cocktails on the patio, followed by any number of options. Many couples plan a classic sit-down dinner or buffet with dancing and dessert; others choose a variety of stations and cocktails throughout the reception. At Perona Farms anything is possible and you are only limited by your imagination.

The sprawling estate is also home to gardens, patios, an orchard and beautiful Perona Lake for numerous photo opportunities, along with a variety of bridal suites to get ready. Outdoor areas include spaces for your ceremony, cocktail hour and even fireworks at your reception. They also have an on-site hydroponic greenhouse that provides greens and herbs for farm-to-table menus.

The Barn

The Barn at Perona Farms was originally built in the 1930s and is the perfect location for your rustic barn wedding. The barn has a variety of options for both outdoor and indoor wedding ceremonies. Your guests will enter the first level of the barn and begin the celebration with cocktails and seasonal selections from their culinary team. After cocktails, guests will make their way upstairs as you make your grand entrance. Dancing, family-style dinner and unforgettable memories will follow.

The Reserve

The Reserve at Perona Farms is a newly designed elegant venue for weddings up to 275 with stone columns, rustic details, a renewed bar area and custom lighting system that allows you to personalize the feel and color of the room throughout your event. For your ceremony, the Reserve has a beautiful garden area for both outdoor and indoor ceremonies, complete with a retractable roof for any weather and last-minute game-day decisions. Dinner can be served either classic sit-down or buffet style.

The Refinery

Perona's original Venetian venue, built in the 1920s, has been reimagined into an industrial-chic space with exposed brick, steel and concrete finishings. The new venue comfortably accommodates from 60 to 150 guests along with an indoor/outdoor ceremony area, lounge, loggia, terrace and private suites for the wedding party.

Currently, Mark, a fourth-generation Avondoglio, leads the business with Bryant and Marley of the fifth generation carrying on the family vision.
