Their Story
Sam and Ariel first connected through a mutual friend, but what really brought them together was a moment of shared laughter. “When the Giants let go of Odell Beckham, Jr., Sam posted a lighthearted Instagram story that caught my attention,” Ariel recalls. “I reached out to her, and what started as a simple conversation quickly turned into something much more. From that moment, our connection felt effortless—we laughed, we understood each other, and we just knew we had found something special. We hit it off instantly, and from then on, we’ve never looked back.”
Will You Marry Me?
Ironically, Sam and Ariel’s engagement tied back to the very moment that first connected them. “We were sitting on our back porch, and I had friends from all over the sports world sending me videos with messages for Sam,” Ariel says. “It was already such a special and emotional evening, but I wanted to end it in a way that truly brought everything full circle. At the very end, I pulled out a signed photograph of Odell Beckham, Jr.—the same player whose story had sparked that very first conversation between us. That moment of laughter years ago had grown into a lifetime of love, and right then and there, I asked her to marry me. What started as a shared joke became the beginning of our forever.”
Details of the Day
On Saturday, July 12, 2025, after being escorted down the aisle by their fathers, Ariel and Sam exchanged vows in the gardens at Hotel Du Village in New Hope, PA. Guests were greeted with refreshing drinks and parasols as they took their seats. A massive floral arch from You Grow Gal Floral Design in Princeton highlighted the ceremony space.
After the ceremony, guests were escorted inside for cocktail hour. Even more elaborate flowers adorned the spaces and books carefully chosen for each guest served as place settings. “We had a ton of flowers,” Ariel explains. “It was as if we dipped into another world! We also had an ice sculpture, cigar bar and more.”
Why Did You Choose Hotel Du Village?
The couple chose Hotel Du Village for its French cottage vibes.
Favorite Moment & Detail
Their favorite moment of the night was “walking into the dining room where it became Flower-Land,” Ariel explains. And it comes as no surprise that their favorite detail was the flowers from You Grow Gal Floral Design.

“Do not be fearful of being creative and inventive,” Ariel advises.
