Tedi and Matt first met in college at their professional fraternity at Rutgers University. He was her little! The couple loves to travel, attend concerts, ski and vacation at Disney.

Details of the Day
Tedi and Matt were married at Elkins Estate in Elkins Park, PA. Planned as a getaway for guests, the weekend’s events officially started with a Fall Fest and welcome reception/rehearsal dinner held on Friday night. Guests awoke on Saturday to breakfast and pre-wedding live music by a Serbian guitar/singer duo.
They then all headed to the local Serbian church, where Tedi and Matt were married in a traditional Serbian wedding. Everyone then returned to Elkins Estate to dance the night away. Sunday included a farewell brunch. Special details included a scavenger hunt on Saturday for guests staying on property, Disney pin trading (the couple loves Disney) and an after-party hosted in the library of the Estate.
Why Elkins Estate?
Tedi and Matt envisioned a weekend getaway for friends and family without it being too far from home. Elkins Estate in Elkins Park, PA, is a 42-acre Gilded Age historical property featuring Neoclassical architecture, grand hallways, ornate ballrooms and 69 guest rooms. It’s the perfect setting for an elegant and romantic wedding weekend.

In addition to their reception, the couple also loved the Fall Fest held on Friday, which was a way to welcome the guests and enjoy more quality time with them. This event include a mobile drink tap truck, photo booth, wine tastings, Fall lawn games and more.

The couple’s favorite details were Anastasia Romanova, their photographer, and A Cottage Gardner, their floral designer.
Advice for Others
The couple’s advice for others is that if you want a packed dance floor, the bride and groom need to be on the dance floor!
